Get Started

If you're seeing this page, you're already confirmed for DevLeague 2026 - welcome to the arena!

Here's what you need to do before Challenge Day:

1. Confirm your team
Teams must be 3–4 members. If you have a team, make sure every member has registered individually and received their own confirmation. If you're still looking for teammates, head to the official participant WhatsApp group and connect with other solo participants.

2. Problem statements drop on 15 August
All problem statements will be shared on 15 August 2026 via the WhatsApp group and email. You may use the time between 15 August and Challenge Day to research the domain, but remember all solutions must be built on the day.

3. Read the Participant Briefing Guide
Everything you need to know before Challenge Day - venue, agenda, rules, and more - is covered in the Participant Briefing Guide shared via your confirmation email and WhatsApp group. Please read it in full before the 22nd.

4. Create your Devpost account
If you haven't already, create your account at devpost as soon as possible! You'll need it to submit your solution before the 4:30 PM deadline on Challenge Day. Any delayed submissions will not be accepted (even if it is 1 minute late!).

Requirements

What to Build

Build a working project that addresses at least one of the four labs provided in this hackathon.

What to Submit

Your project should:

  • Clearly identify which lab(s) your project is addressing.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the problem or challenge presented by the lab.
  • Present a working prototype or proof of concept that demonstrates your solution.
  • Explain how your solution addresses the chosen lab and why your approach is valuable.
  • Use any technologies, frameworks, APIs, or tools of your choice.
  • Be substantially developed during the hackathon period.

You may tackle one or more labs, but we recommend focusing on building a strong, well-executed solution rather than trying to cover everything.

What to Submit

Your Devpost submission must include:

1. GitHub Repository

Provide a link to your project's source code.

Your repository should include:

  • A clear README
  • Project setup and installation instructions
  • Information about how to run the project
  • Any relevant technical documentation

2. Live Demo

Provide a link to a working deployment of your project.

If a live demo is not applicable, provide clear instructions for judges to run and evaluate your project locally.

3. Pitch / Demo Video

Provide a short video showcasing your project.

Your video should:

  • Introduce the problem you're solving
  • Explain your solution
  • Demonstrate the project in action
  • Highlight what makes your approach unique or impactful

Note that the video has to be within 3 minutes.

4. Project Description

Include a concise description covering:

  • Which lab(s) you tackled
  • The problem you're solving
  • Your proposed solution
  • How your solution works
  • The technologies and tools you used
  • The target users or beneficiaries
  • What makes your solution unique

5. Solana Challenge Track (Solana Lab)

DevLeague 2026 features a dedicated Solana Lab, your chance to build on Solana, one of the world's fastest, lowest-cost blockchain networks. New to Web3? No problem: this track is built with first-time builders in mind, with a pre-event Solana workshop and a Solana mentor on the day to help you get started.

Focus areas (starting points - you're free to go off-brief with your own idea):

  • Payments for Southeast Asia
  • AI & agentic commerce (x402)
  • Sustainability & ESG
  • Customer experience on Solana

How to enter the Solana track

The Solana Lab is hosted on Superteam Earn. To be considered for the Solana prizes, you must also submit your project on Superteam Earn; the full instructions on what to include and how to submit are on the listing:

Important: submitting on Superteam Earn is in addition to your main DevLeague submission here on Devpost. Complete both to be eligible for the Solana prizes.

Eligibility: the Solana Lab is open to participants based in Malaysia.

Solana winners announced: 25 August 2026.
